Around 1500hrs today Kimberton Fire was dispatched to the 1800 block of French Creek Rd for brush.
As units where responding Chester County advised that the fire was next to a Barn
Station 62 Ridge Fire Co was added.
Arrived to find what appears to have started as a controlled burn but soon got out of control for the homeowners as winds picked up and also shifted.
The Fire fighters made quick work of containing the fire, Sta 62 units were Recalled
PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN HAVING A CONTROL BURN
