Kimberton Volunteers braved the cold for their 4th call of the day just after 2 PM. Kimberton and Trappe EMS from Phoenixville responded to Charlestown Rd just before the Charlestown Playhouse for a car into a utility pole. Crews worked together to package and remove the injured driver from the car and get her ready for transport. Volunteers also worked to route traffic around the accident scene. The driver of the car was transported to the Paoli Hospital with multi system trauma by Trappe EMS. Crews remained on the scene for over an hour until the car could be removed from the scene.
