On Monday evening just before the October Fire Company meeting, firefighters got a surprise treat. The Pilot Club of Valley Forge - a service organization whose mission is to influence positive change in the community by supporting those who care for others - wanted to thank the first responders in their community for their service, bravery, protection, courage and sacrifice. They presented the first responders (Fire Personnel) from the Kimberton Fire Co. with a "Pick-Me-Up" goodies basket. Members from Pilot Club made the presentation to convey their appreciation for all the department does.

Members from the Club donated 150 hours of volunteer time at this year's Kimberton Community Fair. They assisted in the donut kitchen and in the exhibit hall. Many thought we should be giving them the basket of goodies.
